Another episode of HM that would be good to watch regarding gender roles would be "My Best Friend's Boyfriend" where Lilly gets her first boyfriend, who is a two-timing jerk and drives a wedge between Lilly and Miley. In the beginning, Miley chides Oliver for having "Boy Brains" and not being aware of the signs that Lilly is falling for another boy. Later in the episode, Oliver comforts Miley on the rift between her and her best friend. She comments, "That was smart and sensitive, what happened to your boy brains?" Turns out he was reading his mom's "Chick magazines." Oliver has consistently been a good, and sensitive friend to Lilly and Miley, and it seems out of character when he tries to be macho.
